Tom Kara, photographer for Island Photography, specializes in on-location glamour and portraiture photography. By discovering the islands' many beautiful natural settings Tom is able to offer a diverse selection of backdrop effects.

A resident of both San Diego and the Big Island of Hawaii, Tom periodically sponsors a photoshoot trip to the Big Island -- expenses paid. You will receive proof prints to keep. There will be on-site training.

Tom says, "I attempt to blend the incredible natural wonders of the Big Island with the unique characteristics of each individual in order to create portrait masterpieces."

Finally, Tom says, "A lot of effort goes into producing these images, however, the final results are extremely rewarding. My goal -- to add to and enhance the models' portfolio."
